XtruForm films are manufactured to meet and surpass the high-quality standards of the packaging industry. They are expertly designed for many types of thermoforming applications.

Our range of Xtruform products have properties that make them ideal for food packaging applications. Xtruform is dimensionally stable, high impact, high rigidity and has excellent mechanical properties. The UV stable polyester film offers the best in thermoforming quality and maintains high transparency and light transmission properties before and after machining. Xtruform is environmentally friendly as no chlorine is used and it is fully recyclable.

XtruForm products have excellent chemical resistance properties in Virgin PET, Post-industrial PET or Post-consumer RPET. While the PET option is fully recyclable and makes for a great environmentally friendly solution. Xtruform sheets and film are used for manufacturing food packaging, they are produced according to the highest hygiene requirements for the food industry. Xtruform’s quality and consistency allows it to be easily used in most types of fabrication.

XtruForm films are specially designed for all food-related packaging solutions. Our Xtruform range offers a range of options for innovative packaging solutions from fresh food, medium shelf life right through to extended shelf life products. Our XtruForm films are widely used in the packaging of meat, fruit, deli-ready meals, salad, fresh sandwiches and freshly baked products.

In particular, customers can find a wide range of APET thermo-formable products to meet various requirements. XtruForm is produced according to the BRC/IoP (British Retail Consortium/Institute of Packaging) hygiene standard.

XtruForm films are suitable for deep draw thermoforming trays and all kinds of blister applications, vacuum packing, MAP and CAP packaging, resalable, soft peel, easy peel and permanent sealing. Our films can be used unprinted or printed and have excellent gloss levels for high-quality presentation of the client’s products. The XtruPak technical team is continuously looking for innovative new solutions for the packaging industry.

Traceability

Cores

Polyester is manufactured with low energy and all inputs are 100% recyclable.
Packaging
Individually wrapped in stretch wrap or polyethylene. Stacked on wood pallets and secured with strapping.
Weather Resistance
Naturally excellent weather resistance, but can be extended with UV treatments.

Form Fill Seal (FFS) Packaging

Our RPET Flakes are very high quality and suitable for RPET sheet film extrusion for thermoforming and Form Fill and Seal applications. We currently offer a wide range of thermoforming and Form Fill and Seal sheet Films including RPET APET and PET/PE

The Xtrupak slitting team will custom slit your film rolls to fit your specifications and accommodate your production schedule.

Amorphous Polyethylene Terephthalate (APET)

Amorphous Polyethylene terephthalate (APET) is a thermoplastic material which is produced by means of polycondensation and belongs to the family of polyesters.

Applications: Thermoformed trays, sorting inlays, blister applications and clamshells etc.

Processing: Our RPET range has a high IV value and it runs easier on all thermoforming machines form fill and seal installations, folding boxes and tube drawing installations etc.

Modifications: Co-extrusion And block UV protection Silicone treated and colour.

Standard Colours: Clear, white, black, and other colours upon request.

Traceability: All our materials are fully traceable from our raw material supply chain through to the production to our end product APET or RPET Films.

Recyclability: APET and RPET are manufactured with low energy use and all inputs are 100% recyclable.

Weather Resistance: Naturally excellent weather resistance, however, this can be extended with our UV treatments.
